In addition to Mike's Hall-of-Fame soccer playing career, the analytical training and experiences fostered by him being a degreed, licensed professional engineer plus his rhythmic, lilting, soothing "island" delivery/demonstrations, are the key attributes which make DSC different from others. With over 25 years administering and conducting private soccer skills training and having created and developed the Wells Branch Youth Soccer Association, guiding the club from its initial season (1994 Fall immediately "piggy-backing" on the U.S. Hosted World Cup) consisting of 3 teams and 23 kids to an explosive growth peaking in 2001 with 38 teams and over 290 kids, Mike has developed strong relationships with other soccer coaching professionals, City officials, other soccer administrators, and many, many parents and former players.
